Introducing Paiso
Why I built Paiso, what it does today, and what comes next.
October 5, 2026 · Ahmed Siddiqui
I built Paiso because I could not find one tool that looked at my whole financial life. One app tracked my spending. Another tracked my investments. A spreadsheet held everything else. None of them could answer a simple question: where do I stand?
Paiso is my answer to that question.
What Paiso does today
Paiso puts three things in one place.
- Overview. A dashboard you arrange yourself, and a portfolio page that adds up everything you own and everything you owe.
- Investments. Your stocks, ETFs and mutual funds with their current value and gain, plus your property and other assets.
- Budgeting. Your income, expenses and transfers, with a cash flow view you can read as a trend or as a Sankey chart.
You can enter your accounts by hand and import transactions from CSV files. On the Advanced plan, you can connect your bank and Paiso imports your transactions, investments and liabilities for you.
Privacy comes first
I work in security, and I care about privacy. Paiso shows no ads and never sells your data. Your subscription is the only way Paiso earns money.
Paiso will also be open source, so you can host it on your own server. Read more on the self-hosting page.
What comes next
The Pro plan is in development. It adds RSUs and vesting schedules, tax performance, and retirement and life planning. You can see all three plans on the pricing page.
You can try parts of Paiso right now, without an account, on the features pages.
