Read the cash flow chart

Open Budgeting, then Cash Flow.

Choose a period

Use the date menu at the top right. You can pick a preset such as “This month” or “Last 12 months”. The Income, Expenses and Net Flow figures change with the period.

Trend

The Trend view plots income and expenses over the period. Use it to see when money arrived and when it left.

Sankey

Select Sankey to see the same period as a flow. Income enters on the left. On the right, it splits into your spending categories and your net savings. A wider band means more money.

Select a category in the Sankey chart to list its transactions below the chart.
